The cellars where Gaston Coty produce their wine were built in 1906. They are the oldest in the centre of Sant Sadurní, the capital city of the Cava region. The cellars measure 1286 m², 928 of which are underground, with vaulted ceilings in many places.
This kind of construction is designed to reach an ambient temperature between 18 and 20 degrees without the use of artificial refrigeration, with a constant half-light,
as well as the lack of noises and vibrations; all of these factors are necessary for the production of high quality wines.
One of the cellars is used for different varietal wines in magnum bottles.
The vast majority of these wines are fermented in wooden barrels.
